Privacy notice

What we do, and don't, collect.

Last updated: 2026-08-01

Short version: this page is static, uses no cookies, does not track you across the web, and does not collect personal data. Payment happens on Razorpay's own page and follows their privacy policy, not ours.

What we collect on this site

  • Nothing you have to type. There are no accounts, no forms, no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, Aadhaar, or PAN anywhere on the pages we serve.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records minimal request logs — the requested URL, timestamp, response code, and user-agent string — used only for uptime and debugging. Logs are rotated weekly.
  • Cookieless analytics, if configured. If we ever enable aggregate analytics, it will be a cookieless tool that measures traffic shape (which pages, which country, which language) without profiling individual visitors. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.

What Razorpay collects when you pay

When you click a payment button and are taken to Razorpay's Payment Page, that page is not us — it is a service run by Razorpay Software Private Limited. To process a payment they collect your email address, phone number, payment instrument details, and IP address. Theirprivacy policygoverns that data, not this notice.

On our side, once a payment succeeds Razorpay lets us see a transaction ID, an amount, a status, and (if you provided one) a name or email — that lets us thank you or send a receipt. Everything else — card numbers, UPI IDs, bank details — stays with Razorpay and never touches this site.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own during normal browsing. If we ever set a functional cookie (for example, remembering that you dismissed the support prompt so it doesn't reappear immediately), the behaviour will be clearly signposted here and the value will be a boolean or a timestamp, never an identifier.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you specific rights over any personal data we hold. If you paid us through Razorpay and want to exercise those rights over the transaction record on our side, you can:

  • Access what we hold — the transaction ID, amount, date, and any note you attached.
  • Correct a name or email tied to a transaction if it is wrong.
  • Erase the transaction record from our side — with the caveat that Razorpay retains their own record for regulatory reasons and we cannot make that go away.
  • Withdraw consent for any future contact from us.

Email hello@example.org with your Razorpay transaction ID and the request you want to make. We respond within seven working days.

Data retention

Server logs: rotated weekly. Payment records on our side: kept for as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes (typically seven financial years), then deleted.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share the little data we hold with anyone. We would only ever hand it over on a lawful demand from an Indian authority, and we would push back on demands that appear over-broad.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that expands what we collect, we update the "last updated" date at the top and note the change here for at least thirty days.
