Cockroach Janata Party

Support & refunds

What the payment actually does.

Last updated: 2026-08-01

This page is built and maintained by a small group of unpaid volunteers. If the guide helped you, you can buy whoever wrote it a chai, a samosa, or a plate of biryani. Payment goes to the volunteers directly, and to nothing and nobody else.

What your payment covers

Voluntary personal contributions to the independent volunteers who write and maintain this page. In practice that means chai, food, occasional travel between protest sites, and modest hosting costs. Any amount is entirely your choice. There is no minimum, no subscription, no auto-renewal.

What it does not cover

Payments here are not political donations, election contributions, charitable donations, NGO funding, membership fees, or support for the Cockroach Janta Party movement. The movement takes no funding, and we would never collect on its behalf.

Supporting also does not grant party membership, voting rights, political influence, editorial control over this page, sponsorship visibility, or any special privileges. This is a tip jar, not a marketplace.

How payment works

Payment is handled entirely by Razorpay's hosted Payment Page. You are redirected to Razorpay to enter your details; we never see your card number, UPI ID, or bank account information. Razorpay's own privacy and security terms apply on that page.

Amounts you pick on our tier cards are passed to Razorpay as a suggestion. You can change the amount on Razorpay's page before completing payment.

Refunds

Since payments are voluntary contributions to volunteers, we do not run a formal returns programme. That said, if you paid by mistake, changed your mind within seven days, or believe the transaction was unauthorised, email us at hello@example.orgwith your Razorpay transaction ID and we will initiate a refund. Refunds are processed through Razorpay and typically return to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

We do not refund transactions we cannot verify (missing transaction ID, payment method mismatch, or evidence of fraud). If you paid on someone else's behalf and want it refunded, we still need the transaction ID.

Failed payments

If a payment shows as failed on your bank statement but success on ours — or vice versa — this is almost always a temporary settlement mismatch that Razorpay resolves within 48 hours. If it has been longer, email the transaction ID and we will chase it with them.

Receipts

Razorpay emails a receipt to the address you provide on their page. If you need a duplicate, or an English-language receipt with a specific note, email us and we will forward one.

Contact for payment issues

All payment-related queries: hello@example.org. Please include your Razorpay transaction ID (starts with pay_) whenever possible — it lets us find the payment in seconds instead of hours.
